Eccentricities is Closed

The Eccentricities of a Nightingale
by Tennessee Williams, which I directed, closed last weekend after a great two-month run in rep at A Noise Within.  Set designer Joel Daavid took this beautiful shot of his set before the final performance.  The production has the distinction of being the final fully staged performance of a play by ANW at the old Masonic Temple in Glendale that the company called home for its 19 year history.  The set is a large-scale piece of assemblage art inspired by the...

The Furious Films feature Pure Shock Value, which I directed, was selected as the "Centerpiece Feature" of the 2011 Hollywood Fringe Festival [Film].  The film will screen four times during the festival:

The LoNyLa Project

I attended my first LoNyLa lab session today:  a very unique reading of Anne Garcia-Romero's outstanding new play, Paloma.  I say the reading was unique because the first half of the play was presented by a cast of three and director in New York and broadcast to "hubs" in London and L.A.  We then took a 10 minute break and the L.A. cast of three and director took over the second half of the play.  This was followed by a feedback session over Skype with the playwright in one location and LoNyL...
